Applications

It is used for: 

Production of some pharmaceutical active principles 

Gelatine production 

Aspartamine production (fat-free sweetener) 

Coagulants, flocculants production for water treatment (ferric chloride and aluminum polychloride) 

Methyl chloride production mainly for silicone intermediates 

Lysine chlorhydrate production : amino acids which allow to reduce nitrogen emissions from lifestocks 

Dibasic calcium phosphate production : calcium and phosphorus content 

Glycerol treatment, co-produced in diester production (bio diesel) 

Siderurgy stripping and galvanization (surface treatment) 

Ion exchange resin regeneration to produce demineralised water.
