NOVACAP PRIZE 2018 OF THE FRENCH ACADEMY OF SCIENCES

As part of its partnership with the french Academy of Sciences, Novacap has awarded Julien Nicolas for his contribution in the field of small synthetic molecules with therapeutic value.

Congratulations to Julien Nicolas, Research Director at the CNRS at the Institut Galien Paris-Sud, who receives the Novacap Prize for his outstanding contributions to the design of new materials for biomedical applications.

Its results have led to numerous international publications and the development of seven patents in the field of pharmaceuticals. The Ceremony took place under the dome of the Institut de France. The Novacap Prize targets the field of “therapeutic chemistry and/or pharmacochemistry related to the mechanisms of chemical drugs”. It rewards an innovation, breakthrough or new approach in the field of small synthetic molecules with therapeutic value. This Prize is awarded to a scientist working in a French laboratory, public or private.
